This was going to be Fiona’s first trip to the outback and I was a bit concerned what might happen when the weather got a bit hot out in the middle of nowhere. The plan to go via Broken Hill, Peterborough and Coober Pedy – plus – Fi’s sister Gerry was flying to the rock after flying out and then travel with Rick and
